This post will cover the pros and cons of Alexinea.

Public Information about Alexinea

His Chinese name is Liu Yi.

He graduates from Shanghai Normal University (major of Arts).

Cyber nickname: Alexinea or Forerunner.

He likes reading books. He states that he read 100 books per year.

He is good at promoting himself. He may used to work in the student association when he studied at his high school or university. He is also good at social media, including Twitter and Weibo.

His Role in NCC group

He is one of the 3 founders of NCC (.NET Core Community) group. His role is mainly about marketing and promotion. All the social accounts of NCC group are under his management including Twitter account (.NET in China, NCC Official account), Wechat Official Account.

Achievement

  • He created the Github repo ‘计算机专业术语对照’ . It gets 933 stars and 174 forks (biggest achievement)
  • He followed what the US did to China and created the GitHub repo ‘Software Blacklist References’. He sanctions the author of Notepad++ , the author of NPOI, and a few cloud-native infrastructure companies. He believes these individuals and entities support Taiwan's independence and Hongkong independence.
  • He created the code of conduct of NCC group and make everything look tidy
  • Lead NCC group to their brightest moment during 2019–2020 and become the representative of China .NET community. They call themselves .NET Chinese community. Their Twitter is named as .NET in China. They did try to make themselves the Apache foundation in .NET community although they failed
  • During the accident of Furion’s changing license, they leads the community to cyberbully against Bai Xiaosen who is the author of Furion. This is a kind of revenge to Bai Xiaosen’s suing to one of their core members Mr Ye, who is the author of FreeSql
