Comments:
- Internally, MVP Program team becomes a team no one wanna take over after a few re-orgs
- There can be some concerns from board members of Microsoft. MVP program has been there for 30 years. It was introduced by Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. But these two guys has be out of the daily operation of MSFT for along time.
- MVP program in China is totally in mess. It’s the major source of MVP scandals.
- MVP program costs 1 milliion USD per year to hire these PMs.
- Although China has 150+ MVPs, it only contributes 1.5% revenue to global market. Without these MVPs, it’s almost same percentage. In other words, hiring MVPs doesn’t change anything.
